  • 2002 with the Total E-Quality Award for the duration of three years for exemplary human resources policy oriented on equality.
  • 2004 the Leibniz University Hannover wins first price in the university competition of Initiative D21 „Get the Best“. The chairman of the board of the Initiative D21 e.V., Thomas Ganswindt, handed the 20.000 Euro price to the vice president Prof. Liselotte Glage and Dipl.-Sozialwiss. Helga Gotzmann, equal opportunities officer.
  • 2005 The Leibniz University Hannover was again rewarded in the competition D21-Initiative  „More women in science“ with a special award.
  • 2005 the Total E-Quality Science Award for the second time.
  • 2007 The Leibniz University Hannover is among the best seven institutions in the field of  information- and communication technology (IuK) in Europe.
    The Leibniz University  Hannover has been named among the best seven institutions of the study of the European Commission „Best Practices For Even Gender Distribution In The Domain of Information Society" (Study Final Report) within European Union (EU), that does outstanding work in equality policies.
