• During their 6-month paid internship at one of our partner companies, the technical trainees gain insight into the day-to-day work of engineers and STEM experts and work on specific practical tasks.
• At Leibniz University Hannover and Hannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts, the technical trainees attend regular first-semester lectures and seminars from the STEM degree programs offered; they visit laboratories and institutes and get to know everyday student life at a university and a college.
• They network with other technical trainees, students, engineers, and professors.

The Lower Saxony Technical Program begins every September and lasts six months. To be eligible to apply, you must have earned your high school diploma or vocational diploma by the start of the Niedersachsen-Technikum. Of course, you may apply even before you have earned one of these credentials.

The Niedersachsen-Technikum is a programme designed to show female school-leavers the fascination of degree programmes in science and technology and exciting areas of employment. It is aimed at young women who have graduated from Gymnasium or Fachgymnasium, are interested in a combination of hands-on experience and taster studies, and who wish to gain in-depth insights onto the areas of science, technology, engineering or mathematics.

Durationr: 6 months.
Start: September each year.
