A-Team - Working against discrimination

The "A-Teams" (short for "Antiscrimination-Teams") project was developed by the post-migrant working group of the WIR 2.0 process. At the LUH, the A-Teams are based in the University Office for Opportunities.

The project is sponsored by the “social fund living together” of the state capital Hanover.

To the chronology of the project

In November 2021, the project A-Team of Wir 2.0 AG postmigrantisch and the Network Generation Postmigration started. In the months that followed, schoolchildren and students were trained to become peer-to-peer advisors so that they could actively contribute to the topic of anti-discrimination in educational institutions.

On September 19, 2022, the official graduation of the A-Teams took place in the town hall, presented by Mayor Belit Onay. Now the first A teams are starting their work, also at the Leibniz University in Hanover. The trained A teams are actively involved in anti-discrimination work at the LUH.
